This classic Australian outback MTB adventure follows the historic Mawson Trail* from the Adelaide Hills, through the Barossa and Clare Valley vineyards and passes through historic mining and remote outback towns until reaching Blinman in the world famous Flinders Ranges.
*The Mawson Trail was named after Australia’s greatest Antarctic explorer, Sir Douglas Mawson. As a lecturer in petrology (the study of rocks) at Adelaide University, he led numerous field trips into the South Australian outback during the early 1900’s. Sir Douglas Mawson was depicted on Australia’s first $100 paper banknote.

Whistler MTB Park is the ultimate biking playground. This is more of a guided adventure experience than a travelling tour. The trails are reached by chairlifts or gondola; they accommodate varying levels of skill and fitness, making it a great holiday option for adventure couples and families.
There are also other adventure options if you wish to take a day off riding, which include Glacier Skiing, Flying Fox and 4-wheeler dirt bikes.
